The call for applications for “English language Assistants” in France is open until February 20. It is intended to recruit English language assistants of Sri Lankan nationality in France for the period from October 2026 to April 2027.
Candidates must choose three French academies of their preference throughout France. They will be English language assistants in primary or secondary schools for 12 hours per week.
They will receive support in their efforts from France Education International (FEI), which runs the program with the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. FEI will grant them a monthly living allowance of €800. All other expenses are the responsibility of the candidates.
The selection criteria are as follows:
- Sri Lankan students;
- Aged between 20 and 35 on December 31, 2026;
- Minimum of two consecutive years of study (in any discipline);
- B1 level in French (at least).
