Important Notice for Students - Applying in France step by step
NOTICE FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS
If you wish to apply to a French higher education institution to continue your studies, take the time to follow a few steps:
1) Use the official Campus France search engines to find programs that fits your profile and consult with the Campus France team before applying (anais.delbarre@diplomatie.gouv.fr and admco@alliancefrancaise.lk), especially to private institutions.
2) Verify that the quality of your chosen institution and program is recognized in France. Don't apply to programs from unverified sources or private schools without checking their official registration and recognition. You can verify the quality of your institution and programmes by checking they are part of WHED and the Campus France Forum.
3) Ensure all your academic, financial, and identity documents are completely authentic, legitimate, and verifiable.
4) Make sure to research the scholarships you’re eligible to apply for.
4) Obtain a recognized English proficiency certificate (B2 minimum) to strengthen your application, even if the institution doesn't require it.
5) Learn basic French to make your life smooth socially and professionally with the network of Alliances françaises in Sri Lanka.
6) Be proactive, self-motivated, and take full ownership of your application process from start to finish.
